Occupy Food Supply is an interesting happening. I feel that we as a people should understand that we have a disconnect between what we eat and where it comes from. I also believe that there are food deserts in our country. I also think that industrial agricultural giants Monasanto and Cargil do not have our best interests
at heart. Google it for just a few of the things that they have pulled.

Cowboy Cookies
Cowboy Cookies
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
1 1/2 cups White Sugar
3 sticks Butter
1 1/2 cups unbleached flour
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
3 cups Oatmeal
2 cups Coconut Flakes
2 cups Semi - Sweet Chocolate Chips
2 cups Pecans
Mix ingredients in order, drop on cookie sheet, bake for 10 - 12 minutes depending
on size of cookies. 350 degree F oven
I have added flax seed or meal, used mini chips, substituted walnuts for pecans, omitted the coconut
when I didn't have any, use all whole wheat flour or all white flour. It is a lot better if you use butter.
The cookie that eats like a meal. ;)
